The five-in-a-row card game

Continuum

Play a card. Claim the space. Make five in a row.

The classic game of cards and chips, crafted for iPhone. Take on the computer, pass one phone around the table, or play friends nearby and online.

  • 2–4 players
  • Teams of two
  • Free to play
How it plays

Simple to learn. Impossible to put down.

Every card in your hand matches two spaces on the board. Claim them with your chips, block your rivals, and be the first to line up two continuums.

  1. 01

    Play a card

Choose a card from your hand. Its matching spaces light up on the board.

  2. 02

    Claim the space

Place your chip on one of them, then draw a fresh card.

  3. 03

    Make a continuum

Five of your chips in a row, column or diagonal is a continuum. Make two to win.

Two-eyed Jacks

Wild. Place a chip on any open space.

One-eyed Jacks

Remove a rival's chip, unless it's part of a finished continuum.

Free corners

The four corner spaces count as a chip for everyone.

Dead cards

No open space for a card? Swap it once per turn for a fresh draw.

Questions

Before you deal.

Is Continuum free?

Yes. Continuum is free to download and play, with a short ad between games. Continuum Pro is a one-time purchase that removes ads and unlocks unlimited solo games plus every table and chip set.

How many people can play?

Two, three or four. In a four-player game you play in teams of two: players 1 and 3 are blue, players 2 and 4 are red, and partners win together.

How do I play with friends?

Pass & Play shares one iPhone around the table. Nearby connects iPhones on the same network: one person hosts and shares a four-digit code. Online uses Game Center, so you can play with friends wherever they are.

Do I need an account?

No sign-up needed. Online play and leaderboards use your existing Game Center profile.

How do I get Pro on my other devices?

Open Continuum on any device signed in to the same Apple Account, tap Unlock Pro, then Restore Purchase.

What happens if the turn timer runs out?

Your turn is skipped and play moves on. The timer is optional, so you can switch it off for a more relaxed game.
